What are Soft Tissue Sarcomas?

Soft tissue sarcomas are rare cancers that arise from the body’s connective tissues, such as muscles, fat, nerves, blood vessels, and deep skin tissues. They can occur anywhere in the body but are most common in the arms, legs, chest, and abdomen. Types include liposarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, angiosarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, synovial sarcoma, and undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma.
